TRAINING IS LANGUAGE NEUTRAL - OPEN TO ALL LANGUAGES
Audience: Bilingual employees/staff, new aspiring or working freelance/contract interpreters interested in community, educational or healthcare services e.g., hospitals and clinics, schools and colleges, family planning, domestic violence, housing, senior centers etc.
Training Specifics: This program offers an overview of the interpreting profession, the process of the interpreting session and interactive hands-on role play. It focuses on the foundation of interpreting ethics and professionalism to help you become successful in the field of interpreting.

Additional fee – This course requires proof of of a passing language proficiency assessment. Language proficiency testing, (for spoken languages) or proof of language proficiency evaluation by a reputable organization must be provided. A separate fee ($60 - $90) may be incurred.

Medical Terminology

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (12-hour training – 1 hour lunch)
Location: Online
Audience: Aspiring or working healthcare interpreters; bilingual staff in healthcare; and interpreters preparing for medical interpreter certification (NBCMI or CCHI).
Training Specifics: This workshop is designed to help interpreters understand medical terminology and develop strategies to interpret it correctly. Language neutral – Open to all languages! Enjoyable and interactive!
