TRAINING IS LANGUAGE NEUTRAL - OPEN TO ALL LANGUAGES
 

Audience: Bilingual employees/staff, new aspiring or working freelance/contract interpreters interested in community, educational or healthcare services e.g., hospitals and clinics, schools and colleges, family planning, domestic violence, housing, senior centers etc.

Training Specifics: This program offers an overview of the interpreting profession, the process of the interpreting session and interactive hands-on role play. It focuses on the foundation of interpreting ethics and professionalism to help you become successful in the field of interpreting.  

Cost:  $750 – (includes the following)

  • 48-hours Online Live Training

  • 90-minute written test

  • Certificate

  • and more 

 

 

Additional fee – Textbook and Workbook (Hard Copy or Digital versions). This course also requires proof of of a passing language proficiency assessment. Language proficiency testing, (for spoken languages) or proof of language proficiency evaluation by a reputable organization must be provided.  A separate fee ($75 - $110) may be incurred.

AudienceAspiring or working healthcare interpreters; bilingual staff in healthcare; and interpreters preparing for medical interpreter certification (NBCMI or CCHI).

Training SpecificsThis workshop is designed to help interpreters understand medical terminology and develop strategies to interpret it correctly. Language neutral – Open to all languages! Enjoyable and interactive!
